LEAVE A LEGACY® Iowa LEAVE A LEGACY® is a national campaign with a special effort here in Iowa to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to make planned gifts from their estates to their favorite charitable organizations and to help connect people with the specific charitable organizations that will help them fulfill their legacy. The goal of LEAVE A LEGACY® Iowa is to increase charitable giving to improve the quality of life for all those in Iowa. Give to Your Favorite Nonprofit, not to LEAVE A LEGACY® LEAVE A LEGACY® is not a separate charitable organization and does not solicit contributions from individuals, but instead is funded through Partnership Fees from nonprofit and professional advisor Partners. We do not promote any specific nonprofit or group of nonprofits - but instead strive to educate and to promote charitable planned giving to any and all nonprofits! Who We Are and Who We Serve LEAVE A LEGACY® is a collaborative effort of people in the nonprofit community and professional advisors in Iowa and our border communities. Our volunteers include charitable development officers, directors of charities, attorneys, financial planners, accountants and others. LEAVE A LEGACY® promotes and encourages planned giving by presenting our message directly to the public. We also provide resources and opportunities to charitable organizations and professional advisors so that they too can pass on our message of the benefits of planned giving.
