Definition
LEAVE A LEGACY® is a NCPG (National Committee on Planned Giving) North American public education initiative sponsored in Iowa by a coalition of NCPG chapters focused on increasing estate gifts to charitable nonprofit organizations in Iowa and carried out through a statewide network of community-based programs.

Mission
The mission of LEAVE A LEGACY® in Iowa is to preserve and improve the quality of life in our communities sustained by the people, programs and services of charitable nonprofit organizations.

Vision
LEAVE A LEGACY® will be a well-known concept across Iowa and North America. More and more people, from all walks of life, will have established charitable estate plans to leave lasting legacies in local communities. LEAVE A LEGACY® will become a part of North American vocabulary and charitable gift planning will be a standard part of most estate plans in Iowa.
